Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how TubeFactory ("TubeFactory", "we", "us") accesses, uses, stores and shares information, including information received from Google APIs and YouTube API Services. TubeFactory is operated by Padoma Trade Service Company Limited, No. 55 Nguyen Trai Street, Phuc Yen Ward, Phu Tho Province, Vietnam.
1. Who we are
TubeFactory is a YouTube channel analytics tool that helps creators and the teams who manage their channels understand their audience and revenue. You connect your own channel, and TubeFactory shows reports about that channel. TubeFactory is currently in early access and available by invitation only. The public website at tubefactory.app describes the service; the application itself runs at app.tubefactory.app.
2. YouTube API Services
TubeFactory uses YouTube API Services to show information about the YouTube channels that you connect. By using TubeFactory, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Information collected by Google is handled according to the Google Privacy Policy.
3. Google data we access
You sign in to TubeFactory with the account you were invited with. Google is used only when you connect a YouTube channel, and TubeFactory requests read-only permissions. Each permission is requested only when you use a feature that needs it, and you can choose not to grant some of them; the related features will then be unavailable. We never upload, edit or delete videos, post comments, or change any channel settings.
| Permission (scope) | What we receive | Why we need it |
|---|---|---|
openid, email, profile |
Your name, email address and profile picture. | To know which Google account connected each channel, so we can show it to you and handle your deletion requests. |
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly |
Your channel's name, ID and thumbnail; the list of your videos and playlists with their titles and public statistics; and public comments on your videos, including the commenter's public display name. | To identify the channel you connect, attach reports to the right videos, and show what your audience is saying. |
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/yt-analytics.readonly |
YouTube Analytics and Reporting data for your channel, such as views, watch time, audience retention, impressions and click-through rate, traffic sources, subscribed status and viewer demographics. | To build video health checks, audience retention reports and weekly and monthly channel reviews. |
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/yt-analytics-monetary.readonly |
Your channel's estimated revenue reports. See Revenue data below. | To power Revenue insights. Requested only when you open a revenue feature. |
Why there are two YouTube Analytics permissions. Revenue data is more sensitive than other analytics, so we ask for it separately. You can grant the standard analytics permission and decline the revenue permission. TubeFactory keeps working, and the revenue features are simply hidden.
4. Revenue data
If you grant the revenue permission, TubeFactory reads your channel's estimated revenue, estimated ad revenue, CPM and monetized playbacks from YouTube Analytics. We use this data only for the Revenue insights features you see in the app:
- Earnings per video — revenue, RPM, CPM and views for each video;
- Top earners now — the videos earning the most in recent days;
- Revenue by content group — revenue by playlist, format (Shorts, long-form, live) and labels you add;
- Revenue trends — revenue over time and by country.
Revenue data is shown only to you and to the team members you expressly approve (see section 7). It is never used for advertising and never shared with, or compared against, other channels. Figures that TubeFactory calculates, such as RPM averages and period comparisons, are labeled as TubeFactory metrics, not YouTube data. If your channel is not monetized, YouTube provides no revenue data and TubeFactory shows "Channel not monetized".
5. Other information
- Account details, such as the name and email address of your TubeFactory account, the channels you connected, the team members you approved, and labels you add to your videos.
- Technical logs, such as sign-in times and IP addresses, used only to keep the service secure and working.
The public website (tubefactory.app) does not collect personal information and does not use analytics or tracking tools.
6. How we use information
We use Google user data only to provide and improve the features that are visible in TubeFactory: connecting your channel, video health checks, audience retention, weekly and monthly reviews, audience comments and Revenue insights. We do not:
- sell Google user data, or transfer it to advertising platforms, data brokers or information resellers;
- use Google user data for advertising, including personalized or retargeted ads;
- use Google user data to determine credit-worthiness or for lending purposes;
- use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models;
- combine or rank data from channels that belong to different owners.
7. Who can see your channel data
Data about a channel is visible only to the person who connected that channel and to the team members that person expressly approves to view it. You choose who to approve, and you can remove an approval at any time; from then on, that person can no longer see your channel data in TubeFactory. Nobody else can see your channel data.
We do not read your Google user data ourselves, except when you have given consent (for example, when you ask us for support), when it is needed for security purposes such as investigating abuse, or when required by law.
8. Service providers and sharing
We use a small number of service providers that process data on our behalf, only as needed to run TubeFactory:
- Cloudflare — hosting, network delivery and security for the website and application.
- AI providers (for example, Anthropic) — may be used to write summaries of your reports for you, based on your channel's metrics, video titles and public comments. This is used only to produce features you see in TubeFactory. We never use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine learning models.
We do not share Google user data with anyone else, except:
- when required by law, or to protect the security of our users and the service;
- as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with notice to users and only under this policy.
9. Storage, security and retention
- Access tokens and refresh tokens are stored encrypted. All connections to TubeFactory use HTTPS.
- Access to the application is restricted to invited users and protected by access controls.
- YouTube data other than statistics and analytics (for example, video titles, descriptions, thumbnails and comments) is refreshed or deleted within 30 days.
- Statistics, YouTube Analytics and revenue data are kept while the channel remains connected. Every 30 days we check that the authorization is still valid; if it is not, the data is deleted as described below.
- If you revoke TubeFactory's access, we delete the data received under that permission within 7 days.
10. Revoking access and deleting data
You can revoke TubeFactory's access to your Google account at any time from the Google security settings page: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
You can ask us to delete your data by writing to [email protected]. We will delete the data related to you and to the channels you connected within 7 days of your request and confirm by email.
You can also remove a team member's approval at any time, as described in section 7.
11. Cookies
The public website (tubefactory.app) does not use cookies. The application (app.tubefactory.app) uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect your session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
12. Limited Use disclosure
TubeFactory's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, inform users inside the application. If a change affects how we use Google user data, we will ask for your consent where required.
